Machine learning to advance and automate muographic imaging
Artificial intelligence is transforming mineral exploration, making it faster, more precise, and cost-efficient. The AIMEX project develops AI-powered solutions for geophysical data analysis, mineral prospectivity mapping, and drill core imaging, enhancing exploration techniques.
Within AIMEX, Muon Solutions is developing a new AI-based software platform for muography, improving automation, data processing, and analysis capabilities. The goal is to create new software ready for commercialization, enabling more efficient and versatile muon imaging. Additionally, we will introduce the muographic method to project partners, expanding its adoption in mineral exploration.
By integrating machine learning into muography, we contribute to more efficient, data-driven exploration techniques, supporting the future of smart, sustainable resource discovery.
