All geophysical systems have inherent strengths and weaknesses. For this reason different jobs require different tools. Besides our unique in-house borehole muon density surveys enabling density imaging, we conduct many other types of geophysical surveys.
On top of the muon-based geophysical surveys we also employ other tools and equipment that can be divided in two different operational principles:
- Ground methods: magnetic, resistivity/IP, gravity, radiometric, seismic, ground penetrating radar (GPR)
- Borehole methods: magnetic, resistivity/IP, radiometric, seismic tomography, GPR
We have many instruments available for both categories. However, there are two simple reasons why we have not listed those here. First, to get reliable and useful information from manufacturers’ manuals can be a laborious and time-consuming task. Second, it requires both experience and intuition to choose optimal geophysical systems. Therefore it is better that we will thoroughly investigate your challenges and needs and after these careful considerations we recommend the right geophysical equipment(s) for the job.
