HELSINKI, May 29, 2018 – The Finnish-based company Muon Solutions Oy (the “Company”), a cross-disciplinary high-tech designer, manufacturer and seller of geophysical instruments, published today that it has strengthened its competitive team by appointing Mr. Tapani Järvinen to the Corporation’s Board of Directors. Tapani Järvinen has decades-long experience in international business, mining and R&D. Therefore he is an ideal addition to the Company’s Board of Directors and will help the Company to utilize its growth strategy. Mr. Järvinen has worked as a President and CEO of the company Outotec Oyj and is and has been a member of the Board of Directors in numerous high-tech and mining companies, including Outotec Oyj, Konecranes Oyj, Okmetic Oyj, Normet Group Oy, Talvivaara Mining Company Oyj, Dragon Mining Ltd, Mustavaaran Kaivos Oy, Ahtium Oyj and Ferrovan Oy. Mr. Järvinen is also an Honorary Chairman of the Finnish-Latin American Trade Association and has worked for the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland in the capacity of a Senior Advisor, Business Solutions.
